Resulting Teams
Draft Slot #1
5 Round Strategy: RB, WR, WR, QB, TE
Went after Priest Holmes but used the 2/3 swing to snatch both Chad Johnson and Hines Ward for a dynamic duo. The Price he paid was settling for K Jones as RB2 but with the lock-down studs, that is a worthy risk which was later mitigated by getting Wheatley at the 7.01.
This team can score some points and do it consistently. A bit weak at kicker, but has a set of starters that contain a lot of top players. Depth for RB is suspect but already had Wheatley. Shockey could be a gem and Graham has upside at TE and Kennison offers a safe pick for a backup WR with Calico as the sleeper. This team could score some very nice points every week.
Starters: Green, Holmes, K Jones/Wheatley, C Johnson, Ward, A Davis, Shockey, Hanson and DAL

Draft Slot #2
5 Round Strategy: RB, RB, WR, WR, WR
Accepted Tomlinson and then went the safe route with Chris Brown before spending the next three picks on WR to get Horn, J Smith and Toomer. Found Bulger at the 6.11 for a nice start.
Ended up with nice backups in Garner, Booker and Delhomme but waited on TE;s to only gain Freddie Jones - nice pick at that spot. Has a solid team but lacks the top star power team #1 managed with their value picks. Tomlinson was the only true stud but some nice upside on many players.

5 Round Strategy: RB, RB, QB, WR, RB
Started out with Green and Bennett - sort of odd since both got dinged up the next day in their games. Went with Vick with the 3.03 for a top QB and then took Walker with his 4.10. Opted to backup RB's with Dunn at the 5.03 which seemed prudent at the time but passed on Robinson, Porter and Rogers amongst many other WR's to do it.
Ended up solid at QB and RB but WR's will need to develop to become a strength. By waiting on WR, took some nice risks like Fitzgerald and Clayton that will need to pan out. Boo gives him an upper TE but loses ground on both DEF and TE. Davenport a great backup pick at the 14.10 and Harrington a top backup QB. The bottom half of his roster will need to step up or get churned.

5 Round Strategy: RB, WR, RB, WR, WR
This strategy looks like a safe ploy, but it is made stronger by some nice value picks along the way. Started with McAllister before taking Owens as WR1. Then still reached Westbrook as RB2 before going back to double up on WR with A Johnson and Robinson. That's an upside start - maybe not the safest but if most hit, it will be nice indeed.
Ended up with Pennington at QB which should be okay though not likely best, the RB's are good though the depth is all suspect and could be a problem even on a bye week. WR's were outstanding with three top ones and two upside players to fill in. This is a solid team. There are no top players really but no dogs in the starting slots either. As long as one of the backup RB's pull through, will be at least a good team.

5 Round Strategy: RB, RB, WR, QB, WR
Built his backfield first with Alexander and Stephen Davis and then grabbed Steve Smith, Charles Rogers and Reggie Wayne with McNair wedged in at the 4.08.
Went for a surprisingly early grab on Vinatieri with the 9.05 and again surprised at the 8.08 with Philadelphia defense. Both those picks could have likely waited a couple of rounds more more. Those two rounds lost could have been given to get RB's McGahee, Bell or Steven Jackson or WR's Branch, Booker, LLoyd or Roy Williams which would likely be much better (in terms of upside) than the Hearst or Terrell he later got. Both RB and WR depth is very "iffy" and could hurt if needed. good streak of starters early but the early moves left him behind in getting backups.

5 Round Strategy: RB, RB, WR, TE, QB
Mid-draft slots allow nice RB-RB and team got Portis and then Dillon before grabbing Mason as his WR1. Snapped up an advantage at TE with Gonzalez (4) and then took Brooks for a nice five pick start.
This plan worked well. Backup RB's include safe plays (Bettis), upside (McGahee) and a long shot (A-Train). Burleson at the 15.06 is a steal. While only Gonzo is a stud on this team, there is firepower and upside in almost every starting slot.

5 Round Strategy: RB, RB, WR, WR, RB
Still keeping with the RB-RB theme, went with Edge and Domanick Davis and then gathered S Moss and Chambers to start the WR's. Picked Staley as RB3 with the 5.07 which could have been Porter or Price for WR3 or even Heap as TE. The delay until 6.06 still netted him Favre so waiting on the QB did not hurt.
Ended up WR's that realistically have less upside and probably can only hop to get last year's numbers from them. Went extra-deep for RB's but Larry Johnson unlikely to be a factor. Rhodes was a prudent backup. Winslow at the 7.07 gives him great upside for TE and Gates a wonderful TE2. There is a lot of upside on this team outside of WR and a solid set of starters. Just needs to pay attention to WR free agents.

Passed on Jamal Lewis to take Randy Moss but still ended up with R Johnson and T Jones for RB's - nice start. Found McNabb at the 4.05 and then doubled on WR's with Porter and Stallworth.
Minor may be a decent backup, for a while anyway and Fargas is a shot in the dark that could pay off. Went with BAL and Vanderjagt to get an advantage there. This team ended up with some definite advantages at QB, WR, PK and DEF and a solid set of starters at RB.

Took the gift of Lewis and added Barlow and then Hasselbeck - Nice start. Went with the trio of WR's in Jackson, Price and Bruce for a very solid set of starters.
Ended up with the CAR DEF and McMichael for above average players and added some nice RB depth with Jackson and O Smith. Backup WR's of Shaw and T Brown nothing special but both safer plays. There is little star-power here but definite strength in numbers from a well-delivered plan for solid starters.

Took Manning as the top QB and then Faulk and Suggs for RB's. A bit risky on both but undeniable upside though Jackson would have been prudent to get. Took Griffin and Bell for a very nice RB3 ploy.
Ended up with a nice set of starters for QB, RB and WR but TE, DEF and PK likely average but with upside. This is a roster that could really grow and change through the year with many upside picks that could develop. This is a team that could surprise.

5 Round Strategy: RB, QB, RB, WR, TE
Grabbed Taylor while RB's still existed and then Culpepper a top QB at the 2.02. Henry at the 3.11 but did not get McGahee for insurance. Should be fine with later picks of George and K Faulk for safe backups and Greg Jones for an upside risk play.
Ended up with a very solid squad. Has top QB, TE and DEF, RB's that should perform at least okay and WR's with some very nice upside. This ended up as a very nice set of starters and has the backup with a nice mixture of safe and upside risk plays. I actually like his backup WR's better than the starters.

5 Round Strategy: WR, WR, RB, RB, RB
Went with the WR-WR ploy to gain Harrison and Holt, and then used next three picks to gain Barber, Martin and Duckett. Three safe picks that had to be made.
Waited until the 7.12 to get a QB and took Garcia and later Gannon for two QB's that could surprise (or disappoint). Solid at TE, DEF and PK, this team's fortunes are 100% tied to Harrison and Holt to make a difference. This plan worked out fairly well given the limitations immediately accept by starting WR-WR but ended up with two stud WR and relatively pedestrian in all other slots. This would have been an A+ team in 2003.
