The results from 2004 showing how many times a wideout either gained 100 yards in a game, scored at least one touchdown during a game or did either event in a game. “Plyd” indicates how many games were played by each wideout.

Games with over 100 yards receiving: As you can see, the 100 yard games by a wideout are not that common. Terrell Owens was the best and he topped out with exactly half his starts breaking the mark. Interesting players that rise in this category are Eddie Kennison and Isaac Bruce. Both will be drafted as likely #4 wideouts on fantasy teams this year. Surprisingly, both Marvin Harrison and Randy Moss only managed the feat in a quarter of the games that they played.

Games with at least one touchdown: Here’s where both Harrison and Moss rise back to the top. Three players not taken as highly as they are likely to be worth are Reggie Wayne, Donald Driver and Nate Burleson who all had at least half of their starts produce a score. This is a fascinating list to peruse since it shows the game by game scoring by a player and several of this season’s hot properties – Roy Williams, Michael Clayton and Andre Johnson were not that effective in scoring from week to week last year.
