The starting lineup that was drafted is QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, (flex RB, WR, TE) TE, PK and DEF. Receptions are worth one point.

Draft by Team
Evaluating this scoring system applied to teams means considering what their flex position is and if they addressed the inclusion of reception points which skews some players up slightly. In a flex system, it would be ideal to have three good running backs not only from their scoring but from their consistency each week. But having a great crew of receivers can actually produce more points than running backs in this scoring system.

Plan: RB, WR, QB, RB, WR
This was a scary plan in waiting until the 4.12 to select the RB2 but it appears he made it work. Started with Tomlinson naturally and then added Holt and McNabb for tier 1 players in the three highest scoring positions. In retrospect, would have looked a little stronger with Benson or Jordan as RB2 with the 3.01 and then Bulger with that 4.12.
Nice value picking with D Jackson, BUF and McMichael to secure some firepower at different starting positions. This is a strong roster that has some great upside picks for depth. Duckett and Droughns should deliver at least some numbers every week and Jolley, Rogers, Mark Clayton and Harrington all have big upside. RB2 is a bit weak, but he does have uber-back Tomlinson anyway.
Starters: McNabb, Tomlinson, Staley, Duckett/ C Rogers, McMichael, Holt, D. Jackson, Moulds, J Brown, BUF
Plan Grade: A- |
Plan: RB, RB, RB, TE, QB
Started out on a RB tear, taking Alexander, A Green and Benson to make his RB trio very strong. Grabbing Witten and then Bulger were strong moves to secure top talent on the board.
Team even got BAL and Akers. The only weakness here is in WR but the choices are all sound and if there is one area to make up ground on - it would be WR. This would be a great team to start the season and should contend all season. This worked out rather well. Rather well. Top talent in virtually every position and three RBs for that flex advantage.
Starters: Bulger, Alexander, Green, Benson, Witten, Muhammad, Stokley, Burress, Akers, BAL

Plan: RB, RB, WR, WR, QB
Started with James and shocker pick of Foster without later getting Shelton to back it up. Foster could have been A Green or Benson. Walker and Boldin solid picks for WR and Green a nice value at the 5.03.
Reached nice value with Crumpler but waited until the 8.10 for RB3 and took Ricky Williams for a sleeper pick. Buckhalter is a great "in case" back and Rhodes a good back-up for James. CAR pick at the 7.03 was earlier than I have seen in any draft and was before NE so another surprise. This team has nice depth but with Foster and CAR going so early, it may need to use that depth. While I don't personally agree with the players taken in certain spots, the plan would produce a decent team. There are no stars here and some possible reaches.
Starters: Green, James, Foster, Crumpler, Walker, Boldin, Stallworth, Buckhalter/Lloyd, Kasay, CAR
Plan Grade: B- |
Plan: RB, WR, RB, RB, WR
Started with Davis and then snapped up Harrison before locking down RBs with Jordan and Bennett. Went WR2 with Ward and then had a very nice five player run on value picks.
Took Clark and Palmer for starters, Houshmandzadeh and then Brady and Gore are great backup depth. Stover always a solid PK but waited on DEF so no advantage there. Overall, this team looks riskier than most but has drafted considering those reception points and taken some nice values. Nice mixture of either big upside players or older veterans that can be relied on if needed. Admittedly went with many names I really like.
Starters: Palmer, Davis, Jordan, Bennett, Clark, Harrison, Ward, Houshmandzadeh, Stover, DAL

Plan: RB, WR, RB, WR, WR
Started with Holmes but missed on Larry Johnson who was stolen early at the 6.05 - three spots earlier than he could reach him. That will always be a risk in taking Holmes.
Nice starters from Chad Johnson, Martin, Burleson and Coles. Used 7.05 to take Hasselbeck but could probably have waited a round as it worked out. The TE, PK and DEF picks were towards end of runs and won't likely be a difference maker though not a liability. Had Larry Johnson lasted three more picks, this team would look more solid but some nice backfill was had in Faulk, Braylon Edwards and Griese.
Starters: Hasselbeck, Holmes, Martin, Barlow, Cooley, C Johnson, Burleson, Coles, Longwell, TB
Plan Grade: B |
Plan: RB, RB, TE, RB, WR
Nice mid-round plan netted McAllister and Steve Jackson, and then Gonzalez with the 3.06. Still reached Dunn for RB3 flex spot before grabbing Clayton and Fitzgerald for nice upside WRs.
Liked the waiting for QB here that still got him the cousins Vick and Brooks though picking the right one each week may prove a challenge. That's pretty high value though for the 7.06 and 9.06 picks. This team will need to be managed a bit more than others, but with Gonzalez and three RBs to start with some solid WR and upside QBs, there is room to grow.
Starters: Vick, McAllister, S Jackson, Dunn, Gonzalez, Clayton, Fitzgerald, Mason, Graham, IND

Plan: RB, RB, RB, WR, QB
This is always a solid plan to follow and landed Lewis, R Johnson and Westbrook before getting Roy Williams and Favre. There is nothing splashy or shiny about those five, but in combination they make a very solid team.
Grabbed Heap later on but waited on PK and DEF. Ended up with a very solid team. This team will likely score the same every week, it just will likely win only half the games from a lack of known "big game" studs. This is safe to follow and the picks were good where they were made. This team could end up a top or bottom team purely depending on the schedule he plays against.
Starters: Favre, Lewis, R Johnson, Westbrook, Heap, R Williams, Bruce, Branch, Wilkins, MIN
Plan Grade: B |
Plan: QB, RB, WR, WR, RB
The Manning guy is 8th in this mock. As it ended up, the double Manning guy. One team took the cousins and this one went for brothers. Kevin Jones a great 2.05 pick but then grabbed S. Smith and Wayne before addressing RB2 with Suggs.
Maybe waiting so long on RB gave him the impetus to go steal Larry Johnson. Picked up PIT defense for a good starter and Vinatieri always a nice kicker. Overall, like most Manning teams this one will need for more record breaking games from Peyton. Waiting on RB left a big hole unless Holmes goes down injured early in the year. The only difference maker here is Manning really and the rest will likely post average numbers though WRs are nicer than many.
Starters: Manning, K Jones, Suggs, Wiggins, Wayne, S Smith, Evans, R Brown, Vinatieri, PIT

Plan: RB, QB, TE, RB, WR
This was a craft draft and truly a pick the best player plan. Went with McGahee and then Culpepper. Instead of RB2, grabbed Gates but still landed Chris Brown who looks a bit devalued later with the Henry share plan considered.
Toefield at the 7.09 could be either nothing or a great all-season starter depending on Taylor. For waiting on WR, landed a nice bunch with J Smith, Driver and Chambers. Vanderjagt at the 10.04 a nice value pick at the #1 kicker. OVerall, this is a risky roster of sorts that could truly surprise. Top QB, TE and PK, and some potential at RB if not upside. Liked the depth all over. This plan is not for the casual FF'er to try, but for the experience team owner, it would be a fun team to run.

Always a solid plan though using it as far back as the 10th spot means lesser quality. Started out with RBs Portis, J Jones and Bell before getting A Johnson, Bennett and Porter. Nice enough start for a solid team.
NE a decent pick for DEF at the 7.11 and Collins a great value with the 8.02 with nice backup of Delhomme. This team ended up with no real stars but some very solid picks and good depth in every position. This is a good team by plan and it will have to see all starters hit right every week to be a great team. It was safe and there are some very nice picks for backups. Probably good, maybe great, unlikely bad.
Starters: Collins, Portis, J Jones, Bell, A Johnson, Bennett, Porter, E Johnson, Kaeding, NE

Plan: RB, WR, WR, RB, QB
This team tried to make things happen from the deep 11th pick and pulled off some nice moves. RB1 solid with Dillon and then Owens and Horn for great WRs. Plummer at the 5.10 was at the least a round or two early and not my player there.
Grabbed more RBs with Henry and Bettis - what is not to like about that depth? PHI and Elam should be fine though TE Franks no difference maker. Overall, could have used that 5.10 for Clark or Shockey or even Drew Bennett and still had Plummer much later. Still a good team though that used double scoop of Owens and Horn to shore up the position. While the results like Plummer is not what I would have done, this team did try to make something happen from a back-end draft slot.
Starters: Plummer, Dillon, R Brown, Bettis, Franks, Owens, Horn, Kennison, Elam, PHI

Plan: RB, WR, RB, RB, TE
This team must have loved the back-end swing. Went with Barber and Randy Moss and yet still found both Arrington and Cadillac at the 3/4. That had to be a nice surprise and a great four player start that added Shockey next.
Pick of Taylor at the 7.12 most interesting. He could have been a QB or WR and likely helped out the starters more. He took 4 RBs in his first seven picks and that seemed excessive when other starting slots were still waiting. PK and DEF are fine but no difference makers. Overall, loved the five player start as much as any other team in the league but after that starters would have been stronger with some different positions at different places. With those first five players, this team will still be at least good but depth largely has little upside outside of Taylor who has huge risk.
Starters: Brees, Barber, C WIlliams, Arrington, Shockey, R Moss, Lelie, R Smith, Reed, ATL
