Draft by Team

Evaluating this scoring system applied to teams means considering primarily what their most consistent scorers are - likely quarterbacks and running backs. Kickers are obviously important since they score almost every week, but they are typically hard to determine the difference makers and in the end, most score roughly the same as others. Big name receivers (that score touchdowns) count a lot as well. But with any TD-only team, the results can vary dramatically from week to week.

Plan: RB, RB, WR, QB, WR
This team came together well. Tomlinson is a natural pick and Martin should be a decent RB2 though not to the level of 2004. Chad Johnson could end up the highest scoring WR and the duo of Jackson and Bruce make the WR's at least hold their own. Crumpler solid and the BAL defense finishes this off as a great team. Risk at QB and lack of RB depth are the only holes.

This team looked better before Owens got suspended and made McNabb look less stellar. Alexander is a TD machine and Benson has the potential if he actually gets into camp. There's nice depth with Buckhalter, Ricky Williams and Calico. The worst this team will do is above average.

The Manning team looks much stronger in a TD-only league and he could easily be the #1 pick. Jackson and Westbrook could come through and A Johnson and Clayton solid. Nice backups with Barlow and Jacobs. Very solid team that will feast on Manning's output every week.

Worked out well here. Got Holmes and the handcuff of Larry Johnson plus Randy Moss. RB2 is the rookie Brown with Duckett as a nice backup. Nice upside to the WRs and TEs make this a team that could score some points but will need to develop. QBs are weaker than desired but Holmes and Moss could carry this team all by themselves.

Plan: RB, RB, QB, WR, TE
This team is much better than it may seem at first. McGahee could be a TD machine and Green could be a gem (or not - but he has Davenport too). Steve Smith and Fitzgerald both could surprise and are due for bigger seasons. Clark is Manning's only TE now. Overall, this is not a flashy team but it has room to grow and some nice upside players to do it. Favre always does better in the TD only format.

Dillon is a solid start and Jordan has upside to balance his risk. Gates in this format is a gem. Hasselbeck should be fine and Leftwich is an up and comer this year. Akers always a top kicker. Overall, this is a solid team with some upside to be sure but enough risk in every position ( other than TE and PK) that it could end up average without some luck.
