Draft by Team
Evaluating this scoring system applied to teams means considering primarily what their most consistent scorers are - likely quarterbacks and running backs. Kickers are obviously important since they score almost every week, but they are typically hard to determine the difference makers and in the end, most score roughly the same as others. Big name receivers (that score touchdowns) count a lot as well. But with any TD-only team, the results can vary dramatically from week to week.

Plan: RB, RB, WR, QB, WR
This team came together well. Tomlinson is a natural pick and Martin should be a decent RB2 though not to the level of 2004. Chad Johnson could end up the highest scoring WR and the duo of Jackson and Bruce make the WR's at least hold their own. Crumpler solid and the BAL defense finishes this off as a great team. Risk at QB and lack of RB depth are the only holes.
Starters: Collins, Tomlinson, Martin, C Johnson, D Jackson, Bruce, Crumpler, Graham and BAL,
Plan Grade: A- |
Plan: RB, QB, RB, WR, WR
This team looked better before Owens got suspended and made McNabb look less stellar. Alexander is a TD machine and Benson has the potential if he actually gets into camp. There's nice depth with Buckhalter, Ricky Williams and Calico. The worst this team will do is above average.
Starters: McNabb, Alexander, Benson, Ward, Coles, Stokley, Anderson, Vinatieri and NYJ
Plan Grade: B+ |

Plan: QB, RB, RB, WR, WR
The Manning team looks much stronger in a TD-only league and he could easily be the #1 pick. Jackson and Westbrook could come through and A Johnson and Clayton solid. Nice backups with Barlow and Jacobs. Very solid team that will feast on Manning's output every week.
Starters: Manning, Jackson, Westbrook, Clayton, A Johnson, Muhammad, Wiggins, Kaeding and PHI,
Plan Grade: B+ |
Plan: RB, WR, RB, RB, WR
Worked out well here. Got Holmes and the handcuff of Larry Johnson plus Randy Moss. RB2 is the rookie Brown with Duckett as a nice backup. Nice upside to the WRs and TEs make this a team that could score some points but will need to develop. QBs are weaker than desired but Holmes and Moss could carry this team all by themselves.
Starters: Brooks, Holmes, R Brown, R Moss, Boldin, Stallworth, L.J. Smith, J Brown and CAR

Plan: RB, RB, QB, WR, TE
This team is much better than it may seem at first. McGahee could be a TD machine and Green could be a gem (or not - but he has Davenport too). Steve Smith and Fitzgerald both could surprise and are due for bigger seasons. Clark is Manning's only TE now. Overall, this is not a flashy team but it has room to grow and some nice upside players to do it. Favre always does better in the TD only format.
Starters: Favre, McGahee, A Green, S Smith, Fitzgerald, Burress, Clark, Wilkins and WAS,
Plan Grade: B+ |
Plan: RB, RB, TE, QB, WR
Dillon is a solid start and Jordan has upside to balance his risk. Gates in this format is a gem. Hasselbeck should be fine and Leftwich is an up and comer this year. Akers always a top kicker. Overall, this is a solid team with some upside to be sure but enough risk in every position ( other than TE and PK) that it could end up average without some luck.
Starters: Hasselbeck, Dillon, Jordan, D Bennett, Branch, Edwards, Gates, Akers and CIN

Plan: RB, WR, RB, WR, QB
Started out with James as a steal at the 1.07 and then took Owens - there's a boom or bust pick made just before Owens was sent home for a week. Bell's a bit riskier than desired for an RB2 but Dunn can fill in if needed. Roy Williams and Houshmandzadeh solid for WR2 and WR3. Liked the Cooley pick at the 8.06 and Elam always a top kicker. This team ended up with no stars other than potentially Owens and will need some players to step up every week to compete for the top.
Starters: Brady, James, Bell, Owens, R Williams, Houshy, Cooley, Elam and ATL
Plan Grade: B |
Plan: RB, WR,TE, RB, WR
This team was drafted with TD-only very much in mind. Went with Davis and then Harrison before getting TE Gonzalez and then Bettis who zooms up in the rankings in this format. BUF defense a nice pick at the 9.08. Overall, this team will have to be managed but there are some nice starters in Davis, Bettis, Harrison and Gonzalez. QBs likely to be only average but otherwise it is a solid team for TD-only.
Starters: Brees, Davis, Bettis, Harrison, Driver, Kennison, Gonzalez, Reed and BUF,

Plan: RB,
After nailing down starting RBs with Lewis and Portis, found very nice value with Bulger, Burleson and Witten. Nice five player start from the always tough 9th pick. Foster and Shelton make a great backup duo for RB. Overall, there is some nice firepower where you want it most - QB and RB with enough at the rest of the position to contend. Vick could be nice here with rushing scores if needed.
Starters: Bulger, Lewis, Portis, Burleson, J Smith, Mason, Witten, Longwell, IND
Plan Grade: A- |
Plan: RB, QB, RB, WR, WR
For drafting so deeply, came away with some very nice results. McAllister and Culpepper great picks with upside from Cadillac Williams. Walker and Lelie solid picks for WR1 and WR2 and McMichael at least an average TE or better. Top kicker in Vanderjagt with upside on almost all positions. This is about as good as you could hope for from the 10th spot in this format.
Starters: Culpepper, McAllister, C Williams, Walker, Lelie, S Moss, McMichael, Vanderjagt and DAL,

Plan: RB, RB, WR, WR, RB
Have to really like this team. Kevin Jones and Barber solid picks and Holt with Horn makes the best WR tandem in the league. Arrington at the 5.11 is a steal and Palmer at the 6. a super solid upside pick. Shockey never fares as well in TD-only but decent and Stover with PIT gives yet more solid footing. There is upside throughout this team and some nice values reached at the 11th spot. This was a safe route to take that worked out very well.
Starters: Palmer, K Jones, Barber, Holt, Horn, McCareins, Shockey, Stover and PIT
Plan Grade: A

Plan: RB, RB, QB, WR, WR
Probably the most common approach that worked out very well at the back-end swing. Julius Jones and R Johnson a solid start and Green always a top pick at QB. Wayne and Evans play out even better in TD-only and Heap has great promise now that he is healthy. NE defense always tops. Nice upside and value picks along the way.
Starters: T Green, J Jones, R Johnson, Wayne, Evans, Chambers, Heap, Janikowski and NE,
