| Started: RB, RB, QB, WR, WR
Started with LJ and then had to take Dunn with the 2.16 or risk getting no RB2 of note. Palmer at 3.01 seems too early given the scoring and Palmer returning from injury and that made him late on WR where he had solid picks in Mason and Burress but it is like he had no true WR1.
Overall, running backs are weak but LJ could count twice anyway and other than CAR defense, the only real playmaker here was LJ and hopefully Palmer. As always, this team will rely 100% on his 1.01 to be a contender.
Plan Grade: B |
Started: RB, WR, RB, WR, QB
After securing Tomlinson, found Marvin Harrison with the 2.15 for a very nice start and then added Reggie Bush for RB2. Seems a bit risky move but with LT already on his team, such a risk can be more easily explored. Driver came on as WR2 for a solid pick and then opted for Michael Vick as QB. This is a surprisngly risky squad for the #2 pick but then again, lot of upside on those picks.
Overall, ended up solid enough but with little depth at RB unless Staley remains healthy and contributes. Waiting until the 10th to get a TE also left a hole. Decent enough team but this all depends on what Bush and Vick does. If they shine, this will be a top team.

| Started: RB, QB, RB, WR, RB
Brady at the 2.14 seems a reach considering the scoring doesn't make QB's all that different and the Davis pick at 3.03 is looking worse every day he cannot practice. This drafter just stepped through the team needs it appears.
Overall, the QB pick at the 2.14 set off just chasing position runs and he ended up with a team that looks fairly average for a 16 team league. Alexander is going to need to shine big time for this team to contend.
Plan Grade: B- |
Started: RB, RB, WR, QB, TE
This standard approach works a bit better in a smaller league. Went with the RB-RB start with Portis and Droughns and then settled for Chambers as WR1 with the 3.04. Paired him with his QB of Culpepper at the 4.13 though that seems a bit early and risky given they have never played together before and Culpepper is returning from a bad knee injury with a new team.
Overall, had potentially no RB depth, no second TE, a risky QB and an average at best roster. Plan would look better with different players taken at those picks but this looks like a below average team.

Started: RB, WR, RB, TE, QB
This plan looks like it worked out rather well. Went with solid Barber and then picked up Wayne who is not a tier 1 guy but may turn into one this year. Benson should be good enough at RB2 and Crumpler gives him an above average TE.
Overall, this team has a nice set of starters even if there are no big names. Nice set of starters and decent depth. This plan looks like it delivered the goods.
Plan Grade: A- |
Started: RB, WR, RB, TE, QB
Same plan as team #5 with similar results. Went with RB Jackson and then reached Boldin with the earlier pick and took Dillon with the 3.06. Shockey should be a difference maker at TE and Delhomme will be a solid QB.
Overall, team missed out on getting Maroney to insure Dillon pick and waited on a DEF a bit more but without too much cost. Solid team for a league of 16.

Started: RB, WR, RB, WR, TE
This plan typically produces well in a 12 team league and it still had merit in this 16 team league Went with James and then Fitzgerald for a very nice start and then still reached Gore and Santana Moss. By the 5th round, still accessed Witten,
Nice grab of CHi for a difference maker but hard to understand without having a QB yet - Brees waited until the 9th round for him. Overall, this built a decent team and Barlow backs up Gore but there doesn't appear to be much that can raise this team out of mediocrity unless Fitzgerald and Moss can hold on to last year's numbers. Waiting too long for a QB in a 16 team league can hurt.
Plan Grade: B |
Started: QB, RB, RB, WR, WR
The Manning team did what they always have to do - grab RB's with the next two picks and that only gained him Jamal Lewis and DeShaun Foster. Not exactly the strongest pair. WR's of Jackson and Coles followed because they had to.
Liked the Maroney grab at the 6.09 and Davis is a big upside TE. If Maroney shows up this year or if Foster stays healthy and delivers, then this team can compete thanks mainly to Manning. Not much else on the roster seems capable of stepping up above average though.

Started: RB, RB, QB, TE, WR
Tough draft spot in any league but this plan delivered about as well as could be hoped. Rudi Johnson and Parker as running backs are not likely stellar but should prove serviceable while Hasselbeck and Gonzalez should be above average. Three wideout streak landed players which could be solid.
Overall, this team likely has no RB depth and not much in the way of upside wideouts either. Waiting on defense won't help. Hard to see this team as being one of the better ones but it won't be one of the worst ones either. Solid enough to win some games but not likely most..
Plan Grade: B |
Started: WR, RB, QB, RB, TE,
Tried to make something happen here with first pick of Chad Johnson and then Taylor as RB1 but then went into QB to get McNabb. Had to take RB2 in the fourth but only found McAllister. Miller in the 5th as TE should be play but a WR there would have been better.
Overall, never found any more RB for bye weeks other than maybe Barber and waited on Defense to get average ones. Will compete with McNabb, Chad Johnson and probably Taylor but an injury to any of those three would be catastrophic. Would have been stronger starting RB-WR and still reaching a tier 1 WR in the second round.

Started: WR, RB, RB, QB, WR,
Started out like team #10 with WR Owens and RB J Jones, but then used third pick on Dominic Rhodes which played out far better. Trent Green in the fourth was appropriate and then Toomer in the sixth helped the WR.
Overall, went for some bang with best kicker early as that was and yet waited until the end to get defenses. This plan worked pretty well in that he has some RB back-up (Ahman Green being healthy that is) and wideouts should be solid with Owens hopefully providing the "great". Risky going with Vince Young as a backup but that may work out. Draft towards the back-end means taking some chances.

Speaking of taking risks and trying to make something happen. Went with Ronnie Brown who oddly fell in this draft and then used the 2.05 on Gates for a clear difference maker. Took a major swing for the fence with Mike Bell as RB2 and then grabbed Hines Ward and Lee Evans to start the wideouts.
Loved the DeAngelo pick for some upside backup and Brooks is another high risk/ high reward player. Wisely backed him up rather quickly. This team has actual depth at RB and has upside in almost all positions. If Bell or Williams hits, this team could compete and surprise. Especially if Brooks can improve in OAK.

Started: RB, RB, WR, QB, WR
Followed a very standard plan here by starting out with Cadillac and Westbrook. Then went to get Roy Williams to start off WR and still managed to get Bledsoe in the 4th for QB. Filled starting needs at WR next with Branch and Kennison.
That was a solid start and took TE Watson and TB DEF early enough to get at least average players with a shot at better than average. RB depth is no ideal but few teams manage that . This team will compete well with the starters though the depth is a little suspect.

Started: WR, RB, RB, QB, WR
Back this far in the first round, went for some bang with Holt at WR and then Kevin Jones offers upside for RB even though there is risk. Had to go with RB in the third and only found Fred Taylor which is even riskier. Bulger should be above average at QB.
Overall, reached some decent depth for RB with upside in both Addai and Jones which should help in case Taylor is a problem. This plan worked out pretty well but only thanks to those backup RB's. This could be one of the better teams only if a RB2 comes out of those next three backs. Holt and Bulger offer a nice hookup.

Started: WR, RB, TE, RB, WR
Drafting this deeply is always a challenge to get difference makers but this approach paid some nice dividends. After Steve Smith, went for Willis McGahee and then opted for Heap at the 3.15 for a difference making tight end. Quick pick in the 4th netted Tatum Bell but could have been other RB's I would personally have rather taken.
Overall, Warner could be nice at QB, TE and WR appear at least good if not superior but that hole at RB is going to be hard to fill if Bell doesn't get a starting nod which is not expected. Could have taken more risk for more upside with a rookie RB or two or other choices.

Started: WR, RB, RB, QB, WR
The final pick was not a problem for this team. Started with Randy Moss and then Jordan at RB. Went for Chris Brown which was risky but grabbed LenDale White in the 6th to make it all seem better. Manning at the 4.01 was a great find.
Overall, this team has some surprising firepower given the draft slot. Should be above average at QB and WR and okay at RB though no real bye week filler to use. TE Smith has a ton of upside this year as well. Considering the draft slot, this plan came together very well and had he managed to find just one more RB for decent depth, it would be an A+ effort..
