Game Predictions

Prediction Last Week 7-7, vs. line 5-9, Overall 80-48 (63%), vs. line 68-59 (53 %)
BAL 23, TEN 7 (Line: BAL by 7.5) The Ravens are on a roll again and the Titans just get in the way. Young still hasn't figured out how to use a wideout and that will hurt this week against the Ravens defense.
BUF 10, IND 27 (Line: IND by 12) The Colts are due for a mail-in game after two tough road wins but the Bills without McGahee won't be able to take advantage of it. Losman to Evans is not enough to challenge the Colts.
CLE 13, ATL 24 (Line: ATL by 8) The Browns tend to play closer games since teams do not take them seriously but that is not an option for the Falcons this week. Vick came back to earth last week and will remain there against the Browns - but everyone runs.
GB 13, MIN 20 (Line: MIN by 5.5) Coin flip game but the Vikes at home should have enough defense to keep Favre and Green at bay, even if the Minnesota aerial attack has almost disappeared this year.
HOU 6, JAX 27 (Line: JAX by 10.5) The Texans humbled the Jags in week seven and that's still fresh on their minds. Look for a little payback this week.
KC 24. MIA 20 (Line: KC by 1) The Fins shocked the world with their win in Chicago but the Chiefs have been winning for the last three weeks and a 2-6 team just gets in the way. The Dolphins are improving, but last week was the exception and not the new rule.
NO 20, PIT 24 (Line: PIT by 4.5) Here we have the perfect match-up. The team with the best mojo faces the team with the worst mojo. Big Ben is going to throw some scores here, but which team catches them?
NYJ 7, NE 31 (Line: NE by 10.5) The Pats are still stinging from the Colts loss and the Jets bring the worst rushing defense in the NFL to town. The only team remotely challenging the Pats in the AFC East are the Jets and after this week that won't even be considered a remote possibility.
SD 27, CIN 24 (Line: SD by 1) Tough game to call because the Bengals are in a corner now and have to fight for their lives. But the Chargers are #1 at scoring points this year and the Bengals are getting good at letting close ones get away.
SF 16, DET 31 (Line: DET by 6) The 49ers on the road with their stagnant offense cannot stem the tide of Kevin Jones and Roy Williams at home. Imagine - the Lions winning back-to-back games!
WAS 10, PHI 31 (Line: PHI by 7) The Eagles lost their last three and have been waiting two weeks to play. Expect them to play with a vengeance this week in a home game over the Skins who could be without Moss again this week.
DEN 17, OAK 6 (Line: DEN by 7) This match-up has lost all the luster and the Broncos will just want to get through it. Raiders come off a shutout last week and look just as bad as they ever have.
DAL 24, ARZ 20 (Line: DAL by 7) One thing is sure - one coach is going to be really mad when this one is done. Chances are Denny will be the guy but Dallas has yet to make any game a certainty.
STL 24, SEA 27 (Line: SEA by 7) Should be a nice shootout this week with the Rams bad at stopping the run and Bulger already having a season high game against these Seahawks. Got em? Start em!
CHI 16, NYG 20 (Line: NYG by 2.5) Great match-up against the suddenly mortal Bears that may have a banged up Urlacher chasing Barber. The Bears will miss Berrian and the Giants take advantage of the home venue.
TB 6, CAR 24 (Line: CAR by 9.5) The Panthers on Monday after losing the last two games and resting for a week? The Buccaneers are getting worse and if only this week, the Panthers look a lot better.
