point sacks and turnovers, two point safeties and six point touchdowns.

Team #1
Started: RB, WR, QB, RB, WR
Starters: Brady, Tomlinson, Lynch, Crumpler, Fitzgerald, Burress, Galloway, Kaeding, CHI
Have to hate this team if you are in this league, Took Tomlinson naturally and felt so confident that he grabbed Larry Fitzgerald and then top QB Brady which was needed if he wanted to land a top 4 QB as this draft played out. Then still reached Marshawn Lynch as his RB2 and Burress thanks to all the grabbing of QBs likely set off by this team.
Used the 6.12 to take the Bears defense and still managed to reach Galloway as WR3. Kaeding is a solid kicker and CAR as a back-up defense very nice. Tight end would be an advantage here but not a liability either. All in all, the only weakness is with RB depth and below average tight ends but so what? He has one of the top RB, QB, WR and DEF and Tomlinson probably counts like a RB and a half. Not quite the depth that would be desired but otherwise a definite contender for the title.

Team #2
Started: RB, WR, WR, RB, RB
Starters: Leinart, Jackson. Norwood, Winslow, Wayne, Houshmandzadeh, Cotchery, Wilkins, NYG
Like team #1, taking Jackson gave this team the freedom to snag both Wayne and Houshmandzadeh for WR's though Roy Williams seems like a better pick here instead of a second wideout for the Bengals. Waited until the 4.11 for RB2 and still reached Norwood who was followed by the rookie Peterson for some big-time upside in RB. But only two will start so it made other positions suffer, particularly QB.
Winslow a very nice TE to be sure and WR3 of Cotchery probably okay but waited until the 8.11 to take QB Leinart. That was scary enough to merit taking Coulter with the next pick. Waiting until the final pick for the NYG defense means no advantage at all there. Overall, QB is below average, RB very strong as is TE and WR. If Leinart or Cutler can step up and not be a liability, team can compete with great RB and two good WR's.

Starters: McNabb, L Johnson, James, Shockey, Brown, Mark Clayton, T Glenn, Vinatieri, NE
Classic RB hog here starting out with Larry Johnson, then James and then Portis who could not be passed by at the 3.03. But that was just two starters of the first three picks and Johnson is currently not in camp so possibly this draft started at the 2.10. If LJ gets into camp, team will have some trade bait perhaps but ended up with weakest WR's in the league.
McNabb a nice value at the 4.10 in this QB happy league and Delhomme a decent QB2. Shockey was nice for TE but the WR did not start until round five and produced R Brown, M Clayton and Glenn. Nice upside on the first two but it's like the team is missing a WR1 in a reception points league. NE always a nice defense and Vinatieri as PK feels a lot better than he'll likely actually produce. This team carries risk to be sure with Johnson holding out and McNabb often injured. No advantage in WR means an injury to McNabb or if LJ really does hold out and this team is sunk.

Nice value picking on this team. After RB Gore, opted for WR Owens and then back to grab Benson who was a great value at the 3.04. Back to WR for Evans before settling on Kitna at QB which was a huge value at the 5.04 pick in this league. With 4 QBs taken by the end of the 3rd round, waiting until the 5th worked out really well here.
Vernon Davis offers great upside at TE but WR3 of Williamson probably won't last long. Nice picks but loading up so heavy on RB seemed excessive with picks of K Jones as RB4 would have been a far better WR3 than ending up with Williamson. No WR depth either in a reception points league. Very solid at QB and RB and loved the TE Davis pick but the WR3 slot has yet to be filled and taking three tight ends makes little sense. Also waiting until the end for the STL defense means that the team will be getting a new DEF in free agency probably. Very nice six round start then fell apart with a perceived need to shore up RB and QB depth before getting more WR. This team will need to be a waiver wire hound for a few weeks.

The five slot produced Addai and Holt as WR1 with the 2.08 is usually good though most would take Owens or Wayne there this year. T Jones very solid at the 3.05 pick and then tripled on WR for Driver, Ward and Calvin Johnson. That's so good at WR that he'll have problems deciding which WR to start if Calvin Johnson meets expectations.
Ended up waiting until the 9.05 for a QB and only found Eli Manning for a disadvantage in a high scoring position. Also waited until the very end to get TE Daniel Graham and MIN defense. This team just looks very average and barring some greatly exceeded expectations, will find it hard to compete with better teams. For taking so many WR early, the receiving crew here looks like it was drafted later than it was. Not much in the way of star power here but that has some to do with the names taken instead of the positions drafted. Just has a glaring weakness at QB, TE and DEF without the stud RB and WR to pull that off.

Filled out starting RBs with Alexander and Jones-Drew before grabbing Palmer once Brady went at the 3.01. That left Boldin at the 4.07 for WR1 and then Ahman Green for RB3 at the 5.06.
Cooley for TE a nice value at the 7.06 and liked Henderson at the 9.06 quite a bit. Ended up with the stud Palmer at QB though it cost a lot for a 3.07 pick. RBs are at least good and could be above average if Alexander returns to form and Jones-Drew doesn't slide back. WR's are nothing flashy though solid and with upside. Taking that relatively early QB in the third round set all other positions back a round from what would be desired and outside of Palmer and the two starting running backs, this team looks pretty average. Palmer seemed an early pick since other than him, this team has no players that will likely be much more than average in their position but in a six point passing TD league, Palmer is an advantage.

Nice start with Parker and McGahee for RBs and then Roy Williams was a nice find at the 3.07 in this league. Opted for RB3 with McAllister at the 4.06 and still managed to land Bulger in the fifth - quite a coup in this league.
Ended up with Heap for a better than average tight end but while he waited on WR2 until the 7th round, he may actually get away with it with upside D Jackson followed by sleeper type S Holmes, That is risky but at least calculated and good picks where they were made. Waited until the end for ARZ defense and PK Hanson and both are likely to get swapped out in free agency. This actually worked out decently for a 7th pick with a solid RB starter set, Roy WIlliams for a stud WR and Bulger who could be top 5 for QB. There are no stars here in any position though and will need to have some players surprise to contend for the tile. Another team that has the look of a waiver wire hound early in the year but at least as solid situations at QB and RB.

Maybe the biggest surprise in this league was that QBs were so highly valued and yet Manning fell to the 2.05 pick. R Bush at the 1.08 was an upside pick but could be fine with those reception points. Walker at the 3.08 over Colston or A Johnson seems needlessly optimistic given what Walker did with Cutler last year.
Ravens at the 6.05 yields a nice advantage there but overall really went for upside over proven production. RB2 of DeAngelo Williams could be nice or could be a waste. Turner, Irons and Shipp all may do nothing when they are needed as a replacement RB though. J Walker seems overvalued and WR of Brandon Jones another swing for the fence with the eyes closed. Michael Clayton and Chris "see you in week nine" Henry as WR depth obviously not ideal. Great QB and DEF here, but RB is weak without any depth and not much advantage anywhere else. Manning was a coup at the 2.05 but seems like this team is really banking on changes in the NFL this year.

Interesting attempt to get value from the ninth spot. Rudi Johnson always solid and Harrison at WR a nice advantage. Went for Gates at the 3.09 which is very nice in a reception points league and Randy Moss for WR2 has great potential. But waited until 5.09 for RB2 and only realized Tatum Bell. Just missed out on Ahman Green and Adrian Peterson unfortunately.
Hasselbeck at the 6.04 was another case of just missing out on Romo. Took Fred Taylor at the 7.09 for a wise attempt to get a RB who would always "do something" which cannot be guaranteed with Bell. Overall, it was going great until the fifth round when RBs ran out before securing RB2. QB's are no advantage though with three could pick and chose his way through the season. WR are stellar which helps in a reception point league and TE of Gates a boon. But weakness at RB will be very hard to compensate for unless Kevin Jones never returns and Bell starts every game. With Gates and those WR, could contend but only if a RB could be landed in free agency or gets lucky with Tatum Bell.

Tenth pick netted Travis Henry for a great upside RB1 and then Chad Johnson is tops at WR. Went back to get RB2 of Brandon Jacobs and then back to WR Andre Johnson. Still managed to reach Tony Romo for QB and just missed out on Kitna which would have been a great five player start.
For a tenth pick, this ended up with some upside QBs, great depth at RB with six who could all contribute this year and WR with Johnson and Johnson a very nice set. Hackett or Drew Carter may remain WR3 or another could be had by trading away one of those RBs. TE is weak but at least it is not a critical position. This team could contend but will need to get a little lucky at QB and turn one or more of those RBs into a trade for a starting WR3 or a good TE. Not bad for a back-end draft and almost pulled off a big boon if he could have reached Kitna. This is a solid plan at this spot, particularly in this league where QBs are so popular.

Team #11
Started: RB, RB, WR, RB, WR
Starters: Young, Maroney, R Brown, Gonzalez, Colston, Branch, Chambers, Akers, DEN
Nearing the back end swing, team went for Maroney at the 1.11 and then grabbed Ronnie Brown at the 2.02 for a very nice value. If Maroney remains healthy, the duo should be solid and Maroney could have been Westbrook which makes sense in a reception point league. Upside with Colston and Branch for WR.
Ended up with TE Gonzalez for a big value at the 6.02 pick but waited until the 7.11 to get Vince Young which is far less attractive when all touchdowns are six points and his rushing scores do not count double like in many other fantasy leagues. Favre a reasonable QB2 here to back that up though. This plan seemed to veer a bit with that 4.02 pick of Carnell Williams who could have been Kitna or Andre Johnson. Williams is risky enough and here he is just depth with the fourth round pick instead of a starter in another position. There are several risky spots on this team in Maroney and Young but upside picks like RB Chris Henry, TE Zach Miller, and Brandon Marshall were necessary steps. DEN and Akers were great picks where they happened but overall, this team looks like a team more likely to miss expectations than to meet or exceed them.

Team #12
Started: RB. WR. QB. RB, WR
Starters: Brees, Westbrook, Lewis, LJ Smith, S Smith, S Moss, V Jackson, J Brown, PIT
The back-end swing had a lot of ground to make up and went with Westbrook to get those reception points and Steve Smith for the top WR. Then grabbed QB Brees at the 3.12 as the final "Big 4" quarterbacks this year. Those are three great picks but in this slot it left only Jamal Lewis for RB2 at the 4.01 pick which isn't ideal. Lamont Jordan offered another option at the 6.01 but only drafted three running backs - that doesn't make much sense particularly with a weak RB2.
Overall, those value picks of Brees and Steve Smith were great to gain an advantage but RB took a big hit in a position that is the toughest to replace in free agency. Taking two DEF and two PK also questionable even though all four players are very good. This plan would work a lot better with more attention paid to RBs. Since picking 12th means getting any advantage at RB is almost impossible, team went for a difference in QB and WR1 but then couldn't or at least didn't ensure that RB would not be a liability.
