The following is a brief recap of the injuries occurring during Sunday games. A complete detailed injury report (Training Room Injury Report) will be published on Tuesday.

Isaac Bruce, WR, STL
Minor Concussion - Bruce left the game with an apparent concussion in the first half. But he was cleared in the locker room at half-time and he was allowed to return to the field. The injury does not appear to be serious but his status for Week 4 is in question.

Vernon Davis, TE, SF
Sprained Knee - Left game in the second half and did not return. The medical staff does not appear to be worried, but the severity of the injury is currently unknown and his status for Week 4 will be determined after he undergoes an MRI.

Jake Delhomme, QB, CAR
Elbow Injury - Left game in the fourth quarter after hurting his elbow while throwing the ball. He's scheduled to undergo X-rays and an MRI today (Monday). His status for Week 4 is currently unknown.

Antonio Gates, TE, SD
Wrist Injury - Left game in the first half, but after his wrist was taped he returned to the field and finished the game. The injury does not appear to be serious but he will be reevaluated over the next couple of days as a precaution.

Frank Gore, RB, SF
Sore Hand - Gore had precautionary X-rays on his right hand after the game. The X-rays were negative and he appears to be OK. Look for Gore to be back in the starting lineup next weekend.

Ahman Green, RB, HOU
Sprained Knee - Left game in the first quarter and did not return. The severity of the injury and his status for Week 4 is currently unknown, but he is scheduled to undergo an MRI and additional tests today (Monday).

Calvin Johnson, WR, DET
Back Injury - Left game after falling and hurting his back in the first half. He walked off the field but was carted to the locker room for X-rays. The results of the X-rays have not been released and his status for Week 4 is currently unknown.

Rudi Johnson, RB, CIN
Strained Hamstring - Left game in the third quarter after suffering a strained hamstring and did not return. The severity of the injury and his status for Week 4 is currently unknown.

Jacoby Jones, WR, HOU
Separated Shoulder - Left game after hurting shoulder in the second half and has been diagnosed with a separated shoulder. The severity of the injury is currently unknown but his status for Week 4 is definitely in question.

J.P. Losman, QB, BUF
Sprained Knee - Losman left the game in the first quarter after being hit in the knee. He did not return to the game and was seen on crutches afterwards. He has initially been diagnosed with a grade 1 or minor sprain and head coach Dick Jauron expects him to miss a couple of weeks. But he will undergo an MRI today (Monday) to determine the exact nature and severity of the injury.

Cedric Killings, DL, HOU
Neck Injury - Was immobilized and taken off the field on a stretcher after hurting his neck. He did not return to the field and the severity of the injury has not been released. His status for Week 4 is currently unknown.

Josh McCown, QB, OAK
Foot Injury - Injured his foot in the first half and was in and out of the lineup before being replaced by Daunte Culpepper for good to start the second half. The severity of the injury is currently unknown but he was in a lot of pain on the sideline. His status for Week 4 is questionable.

Steve McNair, QB, BAL
Aggravated Groin Injury - McNair left the game in the second half after aggravating his groin injury and he did not return. McNair told reporters that he could have continued playing but that the coaching staff decided to go with Boller. The injury does not appear to be severe but he will be reevaluated over the next couple of days and his status for Week 4 will be determined later in the week.

Paul Posluszny, LB, BUF
Fractured Forearm - Left game on a cart in the second quarter and did not return. X-rays in the locker room confirmed that his forearm was broken and he is scheduled to undergo surgery to fix the damage today. His season is likely over.

Hines Ward, WR, PIT
Bruised Leg - Left game in the third quarter and did not play in the fourth quarter after suffering what the team is calling a bruised leg. Ward had X-rays in the locker room which were apparently negative, but the severity of the injury and his status for Week 4 is unknown.

Brian Westbrook, RB, PHI
Bruised Ribs / Aggravated Sprained Knee - Left game in the third quarter after hurting his ribs and did not return. X-rays in the locker room were negative but he's scheduled to undergo a CT Scan today as a precaution. He was also seen limping on the sideline, which indicates his sprained knee was bothering him. His status for Week 4 is currently unknown however the Eagles don't appear to be worried.

Carnell Williams, RB, TB
Bruised Ribs - Left game in the second half after aggravating his bruised ribs and did not return. The injury does not appear to be severe and the team indicated that he was kept off the field because the team was ahead and his replacements (Ernest Graham and Michael Pittman) were playing well. His status for Week 4 is currently unknown.
