Sunday Evening Injury Recap - Week 16

The following is a brief recap of the injuries occurring during Sunday games. A complete detailed injury report (Training Room Injury Report) will be published on Tuesday.

Joseph Addai, RB, IND
Back/Shoulder Injury - Addai left game in the second quarter with an undisclosed back or shoulder injury and did not return. The severity of his injury and his status for Week 17 is currently unknown.

Mike Anderson, RB, BAL
Strained Hamstring - Anderson left game in the second half with a pulled hamstring and did not return. The severity of his injury and his status for Week 17 is currently unknown.

Marty Booker, WR, MIA
Back - Booker injured his back during the game Sunday. He will be re-evaluated on Monday to determine the severity of his injury and his status for Week 17.

Marques Colston, WR, NO
Chest Contusion - Colston was hurt in the second quarter and did not return to the game. He was reportedly spitting blood on the sideline, but the team is currently calling the injury a bruise. His status for Week 17 is unknown.

Brodie Croyle, QB, KC
Hand Injury - Croyle injured his throwing hand trying to make a tackle following an interception and could not finish the game Sunday. He'll be re-evaluted on Monday to determine the severity of the injury and his playing status for week 17.

Joey Galloway, WR, TB
Shoulder - Galloway injured his shoulder during the game Sunday. He will be re-evaluated on Monday to determine the severity of his injury and his status for Week 17.

Anthony Gonzalez, WR, IND
Bruised Foot - Gonzalez injured his foot in the first half and was held out of the remainder of the game. The injury is not considered serious, but with nothing to play for the Colts are considering keeping him out of their Week 17 game as a precaution.

Joey Galloway, WR, TB
Shoulder - Galloway injured his shoulder during the game Sunday. He will be re-evaluated on Monday to determine the severity of his injury and his status for Week 17.

Michael Jenkins, WR, ATL
Quadriceps - Jenkins injured his quad during the game Sunday. He will be re-evaluated on Monday to determine the severity of his injury and his status for Week 17.

Kevin Jones, RB, DET
Undisclosed Knee Injury - Jones left game in the second quarter with what appears to be a serious knee injury and did not return. The nature of the injury is currently unknown but the team is concerned that it could keep him out for a significant amount of time.

Willis McGahee, RB, BAL
Fractured Ribs - McGahee left game in the first quarter with a rib injury and was taken to the locker room where X-rays revealed two broken ribs. He did not return to the game and it looks like his season is over.

Terrell Owens, WR, DAL
High Ankle Sprain - Owens, who was hurt on Saturday night, suffered a high ankle sprain that will keep him out of Week 17. An MRI confirmed that the nature and severity of his injury and with three weeks until the team's first playoff game the medical staff is hoping that Owens recovers in time for him to play.

Aaron Stecker, RB, NO
Foot and Ankle Injury - Stecker left the game in the first quarter and was held out until the third quarter. He was able to return and finish the game. The nature and severity of his injuries and his status for Week 17 is currently unknown.

Ben Utecht, TE, IND
Injured Shoulder - Utecht left game after suffering a shoulder injury but was able to return. The severity of his injury and his status for Week 17 is currently unknown.
