Next, the IDP Game Breakdowns is an article co-authored by myself and Steve Gallo. I prepare these ranking guidelines each week solo, so there may be some discrepancies between these and the writeups and ratings that come out on Friday. Keep in mind that these rankings and the Friday writeups are merely matters of opinion based on current trends and matchups and are designed as guidelines only. We unfortunately don't have a crystal ball to project everything 100% correct.

Lastly, the rankings are based off "typical" IDP scoring, which has been detailed here before and is the system used for all IDP reporting: solo tackle (2), assisted tackle (1), sack (3), forced or recovered fumble (3), interception (3) and pass defensed (1)

We will make an attempt to get this system posted here on a weekly basis.

When comparing the Rankings with the IDP game break downs what are you using to rate these people? You have Stewart Bradley as 19th on your list but is a 5 Star start, Witherspoon ranked 16th but is a 3 star and Ernie SImms ranked 12 and is a 4 star ranking. Some clearification could go a long way to retaining your customer base for next year.

Since I so love tilting at windmills: is there any chance that the scoring system could be indluded at the top of the list or, if that is too difficult, could we be told where to find The Huddle's scoring system? As I have said, my scoring system must be very different and some perspective would help in doing my own evaluations of players.

Where's Karlos Dansby in the LB rankings?

In my league, we are allowed to pick any 3 players as IDPs, we do not have to pick 1 from each D position, is there anyway you can rank them according to straight points for the week?
