Nick Folk, DAL – Arthroscopic Hip Surgery

Cowboys’ PK Nick Folk underwent arthroscopic surgery in early May to repair a torn labrum in his hip, but team officials still expect him to be ready to kick when training camp begins. Folk is currently in the middle of rehab and according to reports he will begin kicking volleyballs in a couple of weeks. If all goes well he’ll progress into kicking footballs by he middle of July. We’ll keep you posted on his recovery.

Adam Vinatieri, IND – Arthroscopic Hip Surgery

According to reports Colts’ PK Adam Vinatieri had been complaining of discomfort in his hip while kicking for the last couple of months and rather than wait until after the upcoming season to address the problem he decided to have it surgically repaired now. By all accounts the surgery was a success and team officials expect him to be pain-free and kicking at full strength when training camp begins.
