This is a brief recap of the injuries occurring during Sunday's games. A complete in-depth injury report will be published on Tuesday.

Desmond Clark, TE, CHI – Back Injury

Clark left Sunday night’s game in the third quarter with a back injury and did not return. The severity of the injury and his status for Week 2 is currently unknown as he will be evaluated on Monday.

James Davis, RB, CLE – Shoulder Injury

Davis left Sunday’s game with an apparent shoulder injury and did not return. The severity of the injury and his status for Week 2 is currently unknown as he will be evaluated on Monday.

Andre’ Davis, WR, GB – Concussion

Davis left in the second half of Sunday’s game with a concussion and did not return. The severity of the injury and his status for Week 2 is currently unknown.

Anthony Gonzalez, WR, IND – Sprained Knee

Gonzalez injured his knee in the first half on Sunday and did not finish the game. According to initial reports Gonzalez has a sprained ligament in his knee and he will miss anywhere from 2 to 6 weeks, but we currently don’t what ligament is involved.

Josh McCown, QB, SEA – Undisclosed Knee Injury

McCown injured his knee in the second half and he was replaced by Matt Moore. McCown did not return to the game and although the exact nature and severity of the injury has not been made public there are reports that the injury could be serious.

Donovan McNabb, QB, PHI – Fractured Rib

McNabb was injured on his touchdown run in the second half. X-rays in the locker room after the game reportedly revealed a fractured rib and although some news outlets have said that he will miss Week 2, head coach Andy Reid did not rule him out for Week 2 in his post-game press conference. His status for next weekend’s game is very questionable.

Hakeem Nicks, WR, NYG – Sprained Foot

Nicks left Sunday’s game after hurting his left foot in the fourth quarter. He was taken back to the locker room for X-rays, and although they came back negative he was diagnosed with a sprain and he was later seen with crutches and a boot on his injured foot. The severity of the injury is currently unknown, but his status for Week 2 is questionable.

Adrian Peterson, RB, MIN – Dehydration

Peterson struggled with leg cramps in the first half and had an IV placed in his arm at half time. He played extremely well in the second half, however the injection site where he received the IV began bleeding. The blood was all over his jersey, but it didn’t affect Peterson’s performance. He’ll be fine for Week 2.

Tony Romo, QB, DAL – Sprained Ankle

Romo apparently sprained his ankle during Sunday’s win over the Bucs. However the injury does not appear to be serious and he should be fine for Week 2.

Danny Ware, RB, NYG – Dislocated Elbow

Ware suffered a dislocated elbow in Sunday’s game and the initial prognosis is that he'll miss at least a couple of weeks.

Kurt Warner, QB, ARI – Undisclosed Hand Injury

Warner appeared to injure his hand in the first half of Sunday’ game and although he stayed in the game he was seen shaking his wrist in discomfort several times in the second half. The exact nature and severity of the injury is currently unknown, but if he was able to finish the game he should be able to play in Week 2.
